How to Plan a Travel Day in Iceland
Iceland rewards those who plan well and stay flexible. How we structure our days so you see more and stress less.
Start late, finish late
In summer, the best light comes after 8 pm. We often have a slow morning and take the famous stops in the evening, when the coaches have gone.
Always have a plan B
Road closures and wind warnings change plans daily. We check road.is and vedur.is every morning and keep two versions of each day.
Leave space for nothing
Some of the best moments happen at stops that were never on the plan.
