Day by day
The route
Day 1 — To the islands
Ferry to Heimaey and an evening walk to the puffin cliffs.
Day 2 — Eldfell
Climb the 1973 volcano and visit the excavated houses.
Day 3 — Back to the mainland
Skógafoss, Sólheimajökull and a quiet farm stay.
Day 4 — Home
Hot spring breakfast stop and transfer.
