The route
Day 1 — Reykjavík
Welcome dinner and route briefing.
Day 2 — Snæfellsnes
Lava caves and the ferry across Breiðafjörður.
Day 3 — Látrabjarg
Europe’s largest bird cliff, puffins at arm’s length.
Day 4 — Rauðasandur
Red-sand beach and a day without driving.
Day 5 — Dynjandi
The waterfall staircase, then on to Ísafjörður.
Day 6 — Hornstrandir
Boat to the nature reserve, Arctic fox spotting.
Day 7 — Free day in Ísafjörður
Kayak, hike or just the bakery.
Day 8 — Hólmavík
Sorcery museum and hot pots by the sea.
Day 9 — Home
Return to Reykjavík.
